All alloy wheels should be installed using a manual torque wrench applied in foot pounds, not an impact wrench, to torque rating specifications followed by periodic re-torquing.
Proper torque for your wheels means - Tighten lug nuts in a crisscross pattern for best equal torque distribution. Re-torque at 100 miles.
Refer to owners manual for proper factory specifications that take precedence over the listed recommendations. Regarding Lug Nuts! Most custom wheels and rims require different wheel lug nuts. Original equipment lug nuts have different seats where the lug nut touches the wheel. Arcorn, ball and mag shank seats are the most common type used by custom wheel industry.
