Consistently pushing the limits of wheel size, from the now modest 16, 17, and 18-inch designs of the mid-90's to the new 28's and 30's, Lexani has always meant big.
So although wheels and tires have traditionally been designed independently of one another, Lexani's research and development team hit upon the winning strategy to designing wheels and a tire together. Breaking with tradition, Lexani collaborated with
Nitto Tire Company to design a wheel and tire package.
What resulted is the extended flange technology, and tire sizes will never be looked at in the same way. Lexani has designed a wheel whose inner wall matches the outer contour of the tire thus allowing a 27 wheel face to fit on a 22 tire size. This means Lexani specially designed 27s are compatible with standard 305/45 tires.
